Welcome

Thank you for visiting the Micklefield C.E. (VC) Primary School website. We hope you enjoy looking at our pictures and finding out about us.

About our school

Micklefield Church of England (VC) School is a small village school, situated in the centre of Micklefield and enjoying views across open fields. We are proud of our warm, safe, friendly and caring ethos. The school offers a high standard of education for children aged 2 to 11, delivered through a broad and balanced curriculum. Our school is a safe and happy place to be, offering everything each child needs to reach his or her full potential, both academically and through opportunities to discover and develop a wide range of other skills.

Our school has a wide range of facilities which enable us to offer a superb educational environment. We are well-resourced, having a large purpose-built indoor learning area and an extensive outdoor play area for our Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception children; indoor and outdoor areas of provision combined with more formal teaching for Class 2; a large hall and two playgrounds for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children as well as a spacious school field.

We value our links with parents, the Church and the village community, and we maintain these through an open door approach for parents and governors, combined with involvement in joint events with the Church and the village.

Whilst the information on our website and in our school prospectus gives you an introduction to the high-quality learning opportunities we offer, you are invited to visit our school and experience the warm welcome our distinctive and caring Christian ethos offers.

If you would like a paper copy of any of the policies, please contact the school office.
