Thank you for visiting the Micklefield Primary School website. We hope you enjoy looking at our pictures and finding out about us.
Micklefield Primary Church of England (C) School is a small village school, situated in the centre of Micklefield and enjoying views across open fields. We are proud of our warm, safe, friendly and caring ethos. The school offers a high standard of education for children aged 3 to 11, delivered through a broad and balanced curriculum. We believe that our school is a safe and happy place to be, offering everything each child needs to reach his or her full potential, both academically and through opportunities to discover and develop a wide range of other skills.
Please take a look at our recent Ofsted Report.
Our school has many facilities which enable us to offer a superb educational environment. We are well resourced, including electronic interactive teaching boards in every classroom. We have two large classrooms and an extensive outdoor play area for our nursery and reception children, a spacious classroom offering areas of provision combined with more formal teaching for our Year 1 & 2 class, a computer suite, a large hall and separate playgrounds for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children as well as a school field.
We value our links with parents, the Church and the village community, and we maintain these through an open door approach for parents and governors, combined with involvement in joint events with the Church and the village.
